How we work

One challenge at a time

We don't sell large open-ended engagements. Each service addresses a specific co-op problem, with fixed scope and a flat price. You know exactly what you're getting before anything starts.

The three services below cover the most common stages of co-op arcade development: getting a loop working, building shared progress into it, and making drop-in feel smooth. They can be taken individually or in sequence as your project grows.

Flat pricing — every service has a published price that doesn't change

Playable builds — every engagement delivers something you can run and test

Written scope — agreed in writing before a line of code is written

Co-op Loop Prototype service
Service 01 $320 USD

Co-op Loop Prototype

A friendly service that builds a two-player cooperative arcade loop so you can test the joy of teamwork. Suited to creators who love shared, supportive play.

If you have a game idea and want to know whether the co-op feel works before investing in a fuller build, this is where to start. You'll get a functional loop with proper two-player input handling and a quick playable build to test with real players.

Shared Progress Build

A development service that shapes shared scoring, lives, and progression for a cooperative title. Made for teams who want to refine the loop at a comfortable pace.

The difference between a co-op game that feels fair and one that feels frustrating is often in the progression layer. This service builds a shared-progress system that keeps both players engaged — neither feeling carried nor feeling stuck.

Drop-In Setup service
Service 03 $410 USD

Drop-In Setup

A practical service that adds friendly drop-in, drop-out support so players can join or leave smoothly. Intended for developers who want flexible co-op done thoughtfully.

Drop-in flow sounds simple until you try to implement it. Player state, game state, and mid-session balancing all need handling. This service covers those carefully — with documentation that explains the thinking so your team can maintain and extend it.

Guidance

Which service fits your project?

Start with the Loop Prototype if…

You have a concept but haven't built a playable two-player version yet. You want to test whether the co-op feel works before building further. This is the right first step.

Try the Progress Build if…

You have a working loop but players feel disconnected — scoring feels individual rather than shared, or difficulty doesn't account for two people. This fills that gap.

Go for Drop-In Setup if…

You want players to be able to join or leave mid-session without breaking the experience. Your game has a working loop, and you need the flexibility layer handled thoughtfully.

Questions

Things people often ask

Can I take more than one service?
Yes. The services are designed to layer — you can start with the Loop Prototype, then add the Progress Build once you're happy with the base feel, and tackle Drop-In later. Each is its own engagement with its own scope and timeline.
What engine or platform do you work with?
We'll cover this during the initial conversation. Engine compatibility is something we confirm before agreeing to any scope — so there are no surprises after you've already committed.
What does "flat pricing" mean in practice?
The price listed is what you pay — regardless of how long the work takes on our end. We scope carefully to make that sustainable for us and predictable for you. There are no change orders or hourly overruns unless you request scope outside what was agreed.
Do I need to have a design doc ready before reaching out?
Not at all. A rough description of your game and where you're at is enough. We'll have a short conversation to understand your situation and figure out whether one of our services is the right fit.
